KWES is non-profitable, non-governmental, non Political and non Religion organization .Established in 1994, KWES is registered under the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council Extension of Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (registration & Control) Act 1982 on June 2000 affiliated with the Ministry of Youth Culture, sports & Tourism and is also Certified through the Pakistan Centre for philanthropy.
We are committed to provide and render humanity services for unfortunate and Under privileged families. During last 14 years KWES has successfully implemented Number of projects with National and International donors. This organization operates independently of any political and cultural influences.
As a non-governmental organization KWES, intervenes both in situations of disaster and non-disaster for sustainable development of the marginalized population restoring their autonomy in the society.
The team of KWES consists of psychologists, sociologists, social organizers, public health specialist, economists, lawyers, human rights activists and educationists. All these qualified members are working to enhance the physical mental health of people from all sections of the society. KWES organization also works for persons with disabilities, non formal education, against the issue of domestic violence, child sexual abuse/corporal punishment/child labour and child trafficking. The aim of KWES is to serve the humanity, development of human resources, capacity building, mental health facilities, and economic sustainability without gender discrimination.
